YOUR WHY

It almost seems like a “buzz word”.  What’s your “why?”  WHY do you do what you do?  It’s almost as if this question has had no importance in the history of mankind.  As I look back over history of the world as I know it, as I look back on my family history, much less the history of other families I’m familiar with, I KNOW that our “why” has always been important.

The main reason is because GOD created HIS “why”, HE put it in us before the foundation of the world,  and it is our responsibility to find out the answer to that question and fulfill it. After much prayer and HIS shalom settling in my heart, at least at this time, I can answer my why.

Our “why’s” will always be in the state of change.  As GOD reveals HIMSELF to us in more ways, our “why” will change.

For now these are my “why’s”.  Why have I chosen Plexus?  First it stole my heart because of people’s love and my ability to reciprocate that love and to love more.  The love of relationships, the love of seeing peoples’ health change, the love of acceptance.  Showing my family that you can change. You don’t have to do things the way they’ve always been done.  Give them the courage to step out and do their why….the why that gets them out of bed excited every morning; the why that they would do for free.

Another “why” for me is to be debt free.  To owe no one anything but to love them; to bring shalom to my husband, who has been so diligent to keep things afloat, even when my selfishness overshadowed such a need.

Another “why” for me is so that I can change; be in an atmosphere of motivation; that there is ALWAYS room for bettering oneself, presenting a better person to my family, friends, my business, and most of all, presenting a changed me to GOD.  Yes HE will always love me regardless of what I do, but to be more like HIM means I need to change on a regular basis.  Will I feel better, more confident in myself, hold my head higher, be stronger as a person?  Be more loving,  having unconditional acceptance of people, no judgment? ABSOLUTELY I WILL!!!  Yes these are the desires of my heart and some of my “why’s”.

I want to accomplish something big, something bigger than me.  I want to capture love; honor it, use it for others, give myself to it fully, and never look back.  Get my agenda out of the way, accomplish HIS agenda.

And this is my “why”.

LIFE COACH INTRODUCTION

I have a question.  Are any of you thinking there surely must be a new season on the horizon—or does discontent and frustration abound?  You’ve been wanting to ‘do something different’, but haven’t a clue what that would be, much less what it would live like.

If this is you in any way, I’d be honored to have a consultation with you, and possibly be your life coach.  I’ll help you unveil what it is that you’ve been wanting to do, instill confidence in you that you can and bring on the courage to do so.

You can e-mail me: jeanna.scott@ymail.com and let’s get started.

BOUNDARIES

What are boundaries?  According to Suzanne Welstend a boundary is a line, point or plane that indicates or fixes a limit or extent.  Boundaries are also the limits we set in relationships that allow us to protect ourselves.  Boundaries come from having a good sense of self-worth.
Self-worth comes from defining our life as we want it to be.

As I accepted a challenge to write about boundaries this morning my mind has been flooded with different aspects of boundaries-a letting down of the bucket into the depths of my heart and “mining’ for nuggets.
Well the first “nugget’ was FACEBOOK.

FB gives me the opportunity to compare myself to others and when I do that I cannot be the “me” I was created to be.  I waste LOTS of time on FB. When my navigation skills are lacking on FB I become frustrated.
Proper eating is very important for the functioning of our bodies and our brains and without boundaries…..we can all fill in that blank.

Kind of in a small “mining pan”, boundaries for me mean, I function at my best when I’ve protected myself against unhealthy relationships, when I allow boundaries to keep others from defining me.  Enforcing the “food monger boundary”, I’m able to keep my body healthy, and as Jim Rohn says, “Take care of your body because it is the only place you have to live.”
Boundaries also empower me to be the life coach I was meant to be.  As I speak the truth in love I have no fear.. my client knows from the beginning that’s how I coach and there is no stepping over or backing down from a boundary.

Yes I am a life coach and my mission is : “To be a beacon of hope to everyone I come in contact with.”  That may be some of you or someone you may recommend.  However they come, I want to be the best life coach I can be and with boundaries in every area of my life, that is possible.

Beautiful Lady

When was the last time you looked at yourself in the mirror? The progress comes bit-by-bit; a little change here, an itty bitty adjustment there, a lot of crying here and there. Crying is refreshing—it’s accepting life as it is at any certain moment in time.

And IT’S WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY OK!!!

Give yourself permission to be where you are, where you really are and who you really are, and WHOSE you really are. CONGRATULATIONS MY DEAR, you’ve just parallel parked into this life. Realize that GUILT is not from GOD, so therefore you know where it does come from. The enemy wants to make you feel that it’s not OK to be imperfect. Will you, or me, or ANYONE ever be perfect??? WHY are any of us trying to be something WE WILL NEVER BE? That’s telling JESUS HE IS NOT ENOUGH FOR US.

OOOOOOOOOOOPS- I DON’T THINK SO!!!

Let’s take another look at guidance-GOD has made you exactly the way you are, HE KNOWS exactly where you are, that you cannot go any farther than HE wants you to go at any given time. HIS timing works far better than ours EVERY TIME.

Taking care of and accepting yourself AS YOU ARE, imperfect and all, IS IN GOD’S PLAN.

So relax, be you, ACCEPT YOU, I’m very well aware that’s easier said than done, but BEGIN to do it anyway. You gotta start “start” sometime, so why not now?!

It’s all about accepting HIS GRACE and HIS LOVE, which cannot ever be earned nor will we ever deserve them. They’re HIS gifts that we receive by faith.

I hope this helps you. Don’t keep heaping “fracture upon fracture”. Take the cast off, just dance around somewhere and then make up your mind to start dancin’ through life. OKAY?

Blessings to you in Abundance, and Embrace HIS Change,

Jeanna

Japan

As I sit looking out my hotel window, the recurring thoughts, laments of overwhelming events of this day drift through.

The nursery rhyme “Little Miss Muffit sat on her Tuffit, eating her curds and whey when along came the rue of the events of the day, causing Miss Muffit to pray.”

Have I become so complacent, so desensitized to any kind of disaster, that I just look at the pictures of devastation, make my exclamations, then continue with business at hand.

Yes there will be wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes HE tells us in scripture, but couldn’t I at least cry out for GOD’S mercy and compassion on everyone affected by the disaster in Japan? The right decisions to be made about medical help, evacuation, humane decisions.

Surely it’s not just “another day in the neighborhood.”

THE BASKET

I saw a pretty, pale blue wicker basket on a young lady’s arm. She was wearing a lovely wide brimmed hat with ribbon blowing in the breeze along with her long, curly, blonde hair and her dress long and glowing was tied with a pink ribbon at the waist.

The path is strewn with beautiful fragrant flowers, food, items needed and desired to be placed in the basket.

Upon seeing this bountiful basket, I had to look deep within my heart and ask myself, if that beautiful basket were mine, would I treasure those items and see them as gifts from GOD or would I take them all for granted, disregard their beauty and not acknowledge them as HIS gift to me?
